Hawkrigg Lune Valley Park
Hawkrigg Lune Valley Park is set in the beautiful valley of the River Lune between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes District, five minute drive from Kirkby Lonsdale, the picturesque market town with an interesting history. Being very peaceful, tranquil and all lodges enjoying fantastic views. All lodges owner occupied, forbidden sub-let lodges to create a friendly atmosphere. There is no part of Hawkrigg Lune Valley Park that resembles commercialism and we pride our park on this.
Available to all residents is also our supply of fresh vegetables and meat via our log cabin shop produced via Hawkrigg farm. lamb, beef and milk is available to sell direct, please contact us for more details and prices.
Family farm has run through 3 generations of the Cowin's, the family now of Bob, Sue Kevin and Gareth run the farm and park.
Hawkrigg farm partners Hawkrigg lune Valley Park and contributes to the stunning scenery surrounding the lodges. 35 Friesian cows are milked twice a day offering in the future all residents fresh milk for the day. We also run 5 limo seen and 5 pure Aberdeen Angus cows producing fine offspring of quality beef. Come March we lamb 165 mule ewes producing top quality Suffolk lambs for the market from July - November.
Helping us with our day to day jobs is Pugsy and Floss our sheep dogs. Being very friendly dogs they have become friends with our current residents.
